ASTM A691 Grade 91

ASTM a691 grade 91 pipe

ASTM A691 Grade 91 Alloy Steel EFW Pipes  are specially designed for use in high-pressure and high-temperature environments. These pipes are widely used in industries like oil and gas, power generation, and chemical processing due to their strength and durability.

The manufacturing process starts with high-quality pressure vessel plates that offer excellent mechanical properties and resistance to extreme conditions. These plates are selected carefully to ensure the final product meets strict industry standards.

The pipes are made using the Electric Fusion Welding (EFW) process, which creates strong, seamless joints by melting and fusing the edges of the plates using electric current. This method ensures high structural integrity and allows the pipes to handle intense pressure and stress.

To guarantee performance, the pipes go through strict testing like hydrostatic testing for pressure resistance and non-destructive methods such as ultrasonic and radiographic inspection to check weld quality. These tests ensure the pipes are safe and reliable for demanding applications.

Thanks to their alloy composition, these pipes also offer excellent resistance to heat, oxidation, and corrosion. This makes ASTM A691 Grade 91 EFW Pipes a dependable choice for long-term use in tough industrial environments.
